CMCL Committee Meeting: Clean Energy & NC Carbon Plan

2026 Goals

• Organize members to attend the NC Utilities Commission public hearing on March 18 and/or provide testimony on Duke Energy’s latest update to the NC Carbon Plan
• Organize members to attend the NC Utilities Commission public hearing later in the year and/or provide testimony on Duke Energy’s proposed rate hike
• Research data center expansion in North Carolina, particularly in our region, and work with statewide partners and CleanAIRE NC to determine a specific advocacy role for CMCL
