From our friends at the Sierra Club: The EPA is considering removing the public comment requirement from the Minor Source Air Permit approval process, meaning many new sources of air pollution could be approved without the public ever having a say. This permit is needed for many types of infrastructure, including for diesel backup generators that data centers need. Public comments can be submitted here until August 21st.
