SUMMARY:Sustain Charlotte Ambassador Training
DESCRIPTION:Join Sustain Charlotte for their volunteer training to become an ambassador! \nThis free training session will take place at the Sustain Charlotte office for approximately 2 hours. Volunteers will be guided through an initial staff presentation about the mission and history of Sustain Charlotte and have a chance to learn about efforts being taken today to generate a healthier\, more equitable\, and vibrant community. \nAttendees will also be invited to engage in an educational activity\, explore government resources\, and ask questions to build the skills and confidence necessary to represent Sustain Charlotte at community events. \nThey’ll provide coffee and breakfast treats. \nWhen the training concludes at 11:00\, new and current ambassadors are invited to join Sustain Charlotte staff for an optional guided walking tour of South End. You’ll learn firsthand about many urban design principles and transportation issues discussed during the training. At the end of the tour\, you can return to the office with one of our staff or hang out at one of the local eateries in South End with your fellow ambassadors.
